Abstract:
This is the third and final report of a multipath interference investigation conducted by the U. S. Army Electronics Command USAECOM, and covers the period from 1 January 1967 to the completion of the project. The primary purpose of the multipath interference investigation was to measure the quantitative data associated in a wide band data system, and to correlate this data with its subjective effects upon combat surveillance imagery. This goal was not achieved due to a unique problem in the FM limiter. A secondary goal, which was achieved, was to gather additional data on the earths reflection coefficient at microwave frequencies, and at grazing angles which were previously unexamined. The results of this study are presented. Author
