Abstract:

This report was written as an operators manual for a two-axis test mount designed for testing sensor systems. Included in the report are operating procedures, theory of operation, and descriptions and specifications for the commercial items used on the mount and related control console. A section on application contains nomograms relating the control systems dynamic response to the load inertia and control loop gains. These nomograms also allow measurement of the inertia of test item loads. Author
