Report Date:

Abstract:
Part 1 of the report extends the fracture studies of Nickel 270 to 2000F and includes a a summary of test results for Nickel 270 and comparison with Inconel 600 b fracture initiation criterion for hot working c additional evidence for dynamic recrystallization during hot working d correlation of structure and properties for combined stress test results e optimization and control of ductility. Part 2 of the report is concerned with a refinement of the analysis for the calculation of the state of stress in a combined torsion-axial load test. Preliminary experiments aimed at extending this analysis to hot working conditions are also presented. Author
