Abstract:
Condensation polymers of N,N-bisdimethylaminodimethylsilyl tetramethylcyclodisilazane and bisp-dimethylhydroxysilyphenyl ether and p- phenylenebis dimethylsilanol were prepared and characterized. Evidence is offered for the structure of the oligomers obtained by equilibrating dichlorodimethylsilane with hexamethylcyclotrisilazane under various conditions and the structure compared with that of other similarly prepared materials that have been reported by others. Additional materials are offered on the synthesis of monomers and intermediates.
