Abstract:
The scope and synthetic utility of the alkyl nitrate nitration has been further advanced by the successful application of the reaction to the preparation of 1-nitroalkyl sulfones. Our study of the scope of the diborane reduction of unsaturated nitrogen functions has been continued.
