Abstract:
In a group of 10 subjects with febrile convulsions, urinary elimination of kynurenines kynurenine, acetyl-kynurenine, and trioxykynurenine , both spontaneous and after ingestion of 1-tryptophan 5g per 1.73 sq, meters of body surface, was found to be greater than that measured in normal subjects, even allowing for pronounced behavioral variations among subjects.
