The article discusses the liquid metal Pb-Bi equipment being investigated and developed at the Institute. It presents a description and tests of apparatus for the measurement of physical properties of liquid metals, pressure meters, fittings, flow rate meters, mechanical and electromagnetic pumps and special testing and heat-exchanging pilot plant loops as well as their use in power stations.
