Corporate Author:

Report Date:

Abstract:
Due to the tropical climate of Vietnam, rice may be grown at various times of the year termed planting-harvest campaigns. Each rice campaign develops under different weather conditions temperature, precipitation, sunshine, length of day, etc.. For this reason, the study of the stages in the growing of the rice under the various campaigns is of interest. Determining the photo-period of the main strains of rice in the various campaigns may be useful from the practical point of view for determining the optimal date for the planting during each campaign as well as all the care which must be devoted within the suitable periods of time with a view to increasing yields.
