Abstract:

A review is presented of the literature on the response of immunological reactions to cancerotoxic substances such as alkalizing compounds and antimetabolites. These substances are able 1 To inhibit or temporarily suppress the formation of antibodies of the specific antigen stimulus or to prevent allergic reactions. The induction phase of antibody formation increase of plasmoblast and immature plasma cells is disturbed. 2 To reduce the non-specific resistance of the cells. 3 To create a positive immunity tolerance. This permits transfer of organs from other donors isoplastic and homoplastic without inducing, in the recipient, the formation of antibodies to the transplant and its consequent rejection. 4 To be utilized in the treatment of autoimmunization diseases for the prevention of antibody formation to the own antigens of the organism.
