Abstract:
Product improvement tests were performed on two CH-47B Helicopters. The test program consisted of compiling, evaluating, and reporting data obtained as a result of flying and maintaining the helicopters. The flight program was to effect normal wear, to evaluate component time between overhaul TBO, and to provide information for analysis and determination of maintainability and corrections to technical publications. Operation and maintenance data were recorded by the automatic data processing method with monthly readouts forwarded to the sponsor and other agencies as directed.
