Abstract:
The purpose of this contract is to design, develop and fabricate 4 MHz single sideband quartz crystal units for operation on the fundamental frequency at antiresonance into a load capacitance of 32pf. Improved reliability and frequency-time stability are anticipated with the utilization of metal coldweld enclosure and resonator bonding techniques capable of withstanding high temperature bakeout periods.
