Abstract:
This specification defines the objectives, criteria, and configuration and establishes the requirements for performance, design, test, and qualification of the air induction subsystem for the prototype-model supersonic transport airplane. Differences between the prototype and production airplanes are described in Supplement I. The air induction subystem shall provide the engine with the quantity of air demanded at high-pressure recovery within the flow distortion limits of the engine. Four independent subsystems are required per airplane.
