Abstract:
The effects of process variables on the structure and properties of a dispersion strengthened Mo-1.5Cb-0.5Ti-0.3Zr-0.08C alloy and a solid solution strengthened Ta-17W alloy have been investigated. The development of process schedules to provide optimum combinations of strength, ductility, and structural stability and to minimize mechanical anisotropy and delamination tendencies is described.
