Abstract:
It is the purpose of this document to show the results of extensive parametric and trade studies on the effects of airplane speed, size, and range on total purchase price, direct operating cost, and sonic boom. These parametric studies which cover a wide range of each design variable, are the bases for selection of proposed variable sweep supersonic transport.
