Title:
Double Potential Step Chronocoulometry at a Dropping Mercury Electrode.
Corporate Author:
COLORADO STATE UNIV FORT COLLINS DEPT OF CHEMISTRY
Report Date:
1974-01-01
Abstract:
The use of a dropping mercury electrode for chronocoulometric methods has been investigated in aqueous solutions and in molten nitrates at 250C. Averaging over several drops increases the accuracy of the method and permits use of lower concentrations of reactant than normally employed. It is shown that adsorption equilibrium can be achieved during drop life provided too short drop times are not used. Author
