Abstract:

A process was developed to further personal growth and career development without a subsequent loss of emphasis on organizational goals. This discussion includes the timing, procedures and material used. The immediate goals are as follows To encourage the individuals to formalize their personal development plans in order to exert more control over their own careers develop specific action plans including realizable objectives and encourage individuals to recognize that personal development plans are dynamic that they should be reviewed periodically for progress and revised as influential conditions and alternatives change. The future goals are as follows To help the individual to improve his knowledge and skill to ensure continued two-way communications between the individual and his immediate supervisor convert NUSCs goals and especially the goals of the Manpower Resources Directorate M into goals for the individual, and to give the individual an opportunity to contribute to the goals of the Directorate and the Center and realistically appraise the performance of the individual in order to acknowledge his contribution and to help in providing him with the support.
