Corporate Author:

Report Date:
1973-07-30
Abstract:
The report describes a frequency response program written for small, desk-top digital computers, in particular the Hewlett Packard 9800 Model 20 with extended memory and plotter if plotting is desired. The particular advantages of this program are 1 transfer functions can be inputted directly, requiring only that the transfer function be in the form of products of numerator polynomials over products of denominator polynomials 2 the resultant frequency response can be quickly obtained and outputted in printout or various plot formats and 3 the engineer has instant point-by-point access to the program and can quickly make parameter changes or signal program reruns. These features result in a General Frequency Response program that should handle most problems encountered, and its use could considerably reduce the cost of analysis and design efforts. Author
