Abstract:
During July and August of 1965, full-scale antenna-pattern measurements were made of a large antenna installation. Twenty-four rhombic antennas, a Collins model 237A-1A log-periodic structure, two double doublet antennas, a Collins model 237H-1 omnidirectional antenna, and a Dixon model OCM 68 omnidirectional antenna were measured and the radiation pattern data were reduced to stereographic contour patterns to be used to gain a better understanding of how rhombic antennas are affected by surrounding antennas and structures at an antenna farm.
