Abstract:

The study examines the broader aspects of military Open Mess system management. Attention was concentrated upon Officers Clubs located within the continental United States. However, it is considered that many of the findings and conclusions are also applicable to noncommissioned Officers Clubs, and to the overseas Open Messes. The scope of the paper is limited to the general subject of club system management status, prospects, policies, and philosophy.
