The invention pertains to lubricating oils based on synthetic ethers used for the drip lubrication of friction surfaces in the friction nodes of instruments. An existing instrument oil is based on synthetic ethers, which contains as an antispreading agent is effective only if it is added in an amount of no less than 0.6-1.0. In order to improve the properties of the oil the following mixture has been developed as an antispread additive A mixture of the diethylamino dimethylamide of perfluoromonocarboxylic acids of the formula CnF2n1CONHCH22NC2H52 with the amides of perfluoromonocarboxylic acids of the formula CnF2n1CONH2 or with 1-perfluorosil-2-beta-carboxy perfluoropropionyl-hydrazines.
