Report Date:

Abstract:
The general purpose of the study was to investigate a computer application to the area of individualized intelligence testing. Primary emphasis was placed on questions relating to the feasibility, reliability, and validity of a computer-based administration and scoring program for the Slosson Intelligence Test Slosson, 1963. Specifically, the evaluation focused on concurrent validity relationships with the Wechlser Adult Intelligence Scale Wechsler, 1955. In addition, predictive validity in terms of college grade point average was compared in terms of forecasting efficiency. Certain affective variables student attitudes and anxiety were studied to determine their relationship to the computer-based and traditional examiner test administration procedures. Examiner ratings of student testing behaviors were related to the attitudes and anxiety variables. Author
