Abstract:
Hitache Senki of Japan has produced a new radio controlled bulldozer, Model T20VR, intended for operation in boggy terrain, zones of increased radioactivity, areas of fires and contaiminated areas. The control system transmitter and receiver have a transistor circuitry and operate in the 150 megohertz band. Special solenoid activated vales are employed which operate in response to radio signals. Interlocks and an emergency stop button are integral to the control circuit. Three forward and three reverse gears are provided. Minimum turning radius is 6 meters. Author
