Abstract:
Industrial wastes from Dover AFB in Delaware are presently discharged to North Ditch. Because of operational problems at the sewage treatment plant, the ability of the plant to adequately treat the industrial wastes was in doubt. A two week sampling survey of the treatment plant and industrial wastes was accomplished. The major industrial waste sources were also discharged to the treatment plant to determine the effect on plant efficiency. Author
