Abstract:
The objective of this work was to analyze an IBM 360 FORTRAN computer program using three dimensional quadratic isoparametric finite elements for structural analysis. Three problems with classical solutions were run with various mesh sizes using the computer program being tested. The data computed was then extensively analyzed, and compared with the classical solutions. The analysis of a fourth problem was continued and compared with results obtained in an earlier project.
