Title:
Viscosity and Electrical Conductivity of Molten Glasses over a Wide Temperature Range

Abstract:
Experimental data indicate the absence of a rectilinear relationship between log sigma electrical conductance and log eta viscosity. This correlation holds good in the high temperature regions. The values of n and C constants in Littleton equation log eta n log sigma C for different glasses are presented. Glasses become inhomogeneous in anomalous temperature regions. At firing temperature regions the correlation between sigma and eta develop an exponential function.
