Abstract:
An instructional design model inspired by a cross fertilization between ideas from the different disciplines of system analysis, curriculum design, and computer programming was developed. The paper describes a hierarchical learning task which was designed and developed in accordance with the instructional design model to study questions concerning task structure, sequencing, and other instructional design variables.
