Abstract:
The paper describes the pancratic lens designed at the Moscow Higher Technical School im. N. E. Bauman and based on the principles of focal length variation elaborated by Professor V. N. Churilovskiy. A characteristic feature of the lens consists in the fact that there is no need to make curving grooves in order to displace the components. Curvilinear displacement of the components is accomplished by means of a simple lever and hinge mechanism. Author
