Abstract:

In the paper the following are discussed What concrete is, an indication how, because of its nature, it may manifest an infinite range of environmental effects that may influence its performance Some features of the state of knowledge of the consequences of the interaction of concrete properties with environmental conditions and a proposal that, asking the proper questions regarding the extension of this knowledge is a delineation of the unsolved problems in predicting the behavior of concrete.
