Abstract:
The paper presents the rules for alphabetizing Thai words in a manner consistent with the standards of the Royal Institute, as exemplified by the Dictionary of the Royal Institute 1950, together with a description of the general characteristics of Thai orthography necessary for an understanding of alphabetization.
