Abstract:

Techniques are described which were developed for the determination of relations between air photo and field data on landslides in New Guinea. These techniques were designed so that air photos could be used to estimate frequency of landsliding, and the ages, volumes and types of landslides as well as their contribution to denudation through time. The development, application and accuracy of the techniques is discussed. Author
