Boron trifuluoride forms a 11 addition compound with CF32CNH. In contrast, BCl3 and BBr3 add across the CN double bond of the imine to yield CF32CX-NH-BX2 derivatives. The structure of these aminoboranes was verified by vibrational spectroscopy. Author
