Abstract:
Questions on the economics of science and training of cadres of specialists are investigated, analysis of the economic work of scientific establishments is provided, indices of appraisal of their activity are offered, and means of increasing scientific research work are set forth. In this volume questions are raised connected with the change over of Scientific Research Institutes, Design-Construction Organizations, and higher educational institutions to full or limited cost accounting, formation of scientific-industrial combines the development of objective criteria for appraisal of the activity of scientists. Proposals on economic experiments in the scientific establishments and higher educational institutions of Leningrad are generalized. Author
