Abstract:
The rotation-inversion spectrum of ammonia NH3 was observed in the wavenumber region between 35cm and 240cm, with a resolution of approx. 0.08cm. The K splitting due primarily to centrifugal distortion is extensive, and many lines due to single transitions are observed. The best resolved of these unblended lines are used in a rotational analysis. Author
