Abstract:

In the present study a generalized equation is presented which permits evaluation of axial thrust components in new types of reaction motors. Also given is an equation for the mean thrust for a pulsating engine using both the internal and external fluids. For a magnetohydrodynamic rocket engine with plasma acceleration in an electric or natural magnetic field, an equation is given for the axial thrust component. Author
