Abstract:
An FA-5170 Radar Performance Analyzer was investigated to determine causes for poor field operation and its suitability as a basis for development of a new ASRARSR Radar Performance Monitor. Some of the circuitry and techniques employed in the Radar Performance Analyzer are satisfactory, while others are inadequate or require redesign. It was recommended that a proposed model, as described in this report, form the basis for a new Performance Monitor. Author
