Abstract:
In order to get similarity solutions of some problems of magnetogasdynamics the mechanism of similarity transformations is applied to the corresponding equations. Five cases are treated three two-dimensional boundary layer theory cases 1 magnetic field perpendicular to the flow, unsteady case, 2 the same, but steady, 3 the steady problem with arbitrary magnetic field a three-dimensional boundary layer problem, also with arbitrary magnetic field and, without boundary layer approximation, the general three-dimensional unsteady MGD-equations.
