Abstract:
The work was directed toward exploring the role of birds as hosts of immature H. plumbeum. Material was gathered in Astrakhan Oblast, in the lower and middle Volga delta regions, where in the summer period of 1963-1964 and antiepidemic team investigating CHF personally inspected 1100 bird specimens of 40 species for tick infestation.
