Abstract:
Serially cultured laboratory strains of the agent of HFRS were obtained. At present, 13 strains of the virus of hemorrhagic fever with renal syndrome are being maintained in cellular cultures. New possibilities have been opened for the study of the role played by murine rodents in relation to epidemiology and epizootology of HFRS owing to development of cultural technique for investigation of HFRS virus.
