Abstract:
The report describes a digital computer routine for calculating root loci and automatically plotting the corresponding root locus diagrams in any specified region of the complex root plane. It is designed for use with characteristic functions with or without a time-delay term. The routine was written in Fortran IV by A. M. Krall and R. Fornaro at The Pennsylvania State University, and was adopted by the authors for use with the BRLESC digital computer and CALCOMP Model 780 digital plotting system at the U. S. Army Ballistic Research Laboratories. Author
