Abstract:
Data and information obtained from a literature survey on space environmental effects upon materials and components are presented. Many types of vulcanized elastomers, thermosets, and thermoplastics are covered in the review. Laminates made from these materials, structural adhesives used, and coatings are also discussed. Materials applications of these materials are potting compounds, electrical insulation, seals, o-rings, and gaskets. ls-PL.
