Abstract:
The methodology suggested in this paper includes several extensions to basic technological projection techniques, identification of context in the analysis of the transition from technical feasibility to commercial profitability, and refinements in capital investment methodology. If a comprehensive methodology incorporating those various features can be developed and implemented, then perhaps it will be with less hesitancy that one might venture to suggest the use of summary projections directly relating growth in technical attributes with percent return on investment.
