Title:
CABLE SPLICING UTILIZING NEW SILICONE MATERIALS,
Corporate Author:
DOW CHEMICAL CO MIDLAND MICH
Report Date:
1960-11-01
Abstract:
Tests were conducted to investigate the possibilities of using several new silicone materials in electrical cable splices show these materials to be an improvement over many existing splicing materials. The silicone materials described in this paper are easy to handle and apply regardless of temperature. In contrast to many splice insulating systems now used, these materials remain flexible and retain their physical and electrical properties over a wide temperature range. Author
