Title:
HIGH SPEED BAND MARKING OF INSULATED CONDUCTORS,
Corporate Author:

Report Date:
1963-12-01
Abstract:
The need for more versatile equipment to apply color tracers on hot insulation as it emerged from the extruder at the highest speed possible for insulating communication cable conductors prompted the development of the Colomat process. Operational problems and the speed limitations of other high-speed marking processes were overcome by refinements of a unique design. A variety of markings in one or two colors provide for an almost unlimited number of coding combinations to satisfy the most exotic wiring systems or cable assemblies. The Colomat process equipment is available in several models with different marking range potentials. Author
