Abstract:
The over all purpose of the project required a review of available sources of information as to methods and procedures presently used in the evaluation of training aids and devices. The purpose of this was threefold 1 To interpret, from what had been done in evaluation of training aids and devices, the kinds of procedures and criteria which could be best applied to the present problem. 2 To classify the areas of training accomplishment through the use of aids and devices, so as to prepare materials for the rating and description of the effectiveness of this training. 3 To classify training aids and devices from the point of view of their training functions, so as to prepare procedures descriptive of the various classes.
