Abstract:
Selected materials were exposed to potassium vapor at 850C. materials were selected from this group for a transformer test device. Preliminary transformers were fabricated for electrical testing in potassium vapor. Several types of ceramic-to-metal seals were obtained or fabricated for use as electrical terminal seals in potassium exposure capsules.
