Abstract:
The work performed, as described in this paper, has shown how by the Electroforming Process it is possible to 1 manufacture thin shelled shapes with large re-entrant angles, and spherical shapes, to a high degree of accuracy 2 manufacture thin shelled cylinders and cones to a high degree of accuracy and with exact duplication of specimens 3 manufacture any specimen so that it requires no further finishing, thus eliminating stress concentrations from mechanically working the material.
