Abstract:
It was requested that explosive and physical tests be made of Composition C and Composition C2 in order that a comparison of these two explosives might be made. In general, Composition C2 compares favorably with Composition C in all respects except that of volatility. It appears that the more favorable plasticity of Composition C2 has been obtained at the expense of somewhat increased volatility.
