Corporate Author:
TEXAS UNIV AT AUSTIN LABS FOR ELECTRONICS AND RELATED SCIENCE RESEARCH
Report Date:
1966-01-04
Abstract:
A He-Ne laser which produces a highly coherent beam of red light at the 6328 A neon line is used as a source for both bright field and phase contrast microscopes. In addition, a new microholography technique utilizing this laser was developed which produces a three-dimensional record of a microscope specimen on a single photographic negative. This technique is extended to both bright field and polarizing microscopy.
