Abstract:
This report is on tests conducted to demonstrate the feasibility of using a change in carrier FM deviation ratio as a means of detecting the occurrence of the A4 Signal. Tests were conducted on a simulated PCMFM telemetry link and, also, a simulated FM multiplexFM telemetry link and, also, a simulated FM multiplexMF telemetry link. Based on the test results, an initial carrier deviation ratio is recommended and, also the change in carrier deviation ratio to be made at A4 Signal occurrence is recommended. Author
