Abstract:
This report is the twenty-ninth in a series of progress reports, now issued semiannually, which summarizes the research programs at the Microwave Research Institute of the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn from 1 October 1965 to 15 March 1966. The programs involve academic research activity of faculty and students, and cover a broad spectrum ranging from basic theoretical physics, mathematics, and engineering, to experimental investigations involving basic measurement, development of devices, and materials. Each activity reports in summary fashion specific results obtained during the period in question the sponsoring agency for the activity individually acknowledged. Contributions are compiled under six headings Electromagnetics Plasma Electrophysics Solid State and Materials Research Networks and Waveguide Techniques Communications Systems and Control.
